Do bands like their style? Or do they just feel obligated to look/dress a certain way?

Look for pics of them off the street. I know Gerard Way dresses like a goth. (if u r a green day fan STOP reading) the guys from Slipknot dress darkly. Alot of people in the metal world wear street clothes for EVERYTHING! So it depends on the person really. Billie Joe Armstong would look like a crack head!
