Joe Perry (Aerosmith, etc) vs. Slash (G n R, etc)?

Okay, I'll start off by saying that SLASH IS OVERRATED. Don't get me wrong, he is an awesome guitarist. But if you listen to Joe Perry's guitar solos and riffs in the Aerosmith songs, you'll be able to tell whose better. I love Slash, but Joe Perry is simply better IMO. And just for records, Joe Perry more than likely inspired Slash.
