Do you think my local zoo would give me animal bones?

I've been wanting to try my hand at skeleton articulation, so I went and caught a frog and put it in a jar with a couple of cotton swabs soaked in isopropyl, but I felt so horrible about it that I ended up letting it go. What can I do if I'm to big of a wuss to kill a frog and too squeamish to scrape something up off the side of the road? Do you think that if I spoke to someone at my local zoo that they might be willing to give me, like, the boa constrictor's leftovers or something if I told them it was in the name of art? Help please and thanks!
