Wanting to reconstruct a deer skeleton?

I live out in the country, and there's deer bones nearby my house. I'm wanting to collect the bones and reconstruct an entire deer skeleton using glue, wire, etc. I'm looking for suggestions on how to handle the bones. Should I just work with them as is, or should I perhaps bleach them first? I'm hoping that the finished product will be a great looking lawn ornament and conversation piece.
