Why don't people like rap or hip-hop or rhythm and blues as much as pop or rock or country?

It's not like they're anybody like in my house, I can't go to a Kid Cudi or Common or Kanye concert without an adult, but could go see I don't know, Billy Joe, or Metalhead Super Punk or Poptasia (Made up names) with no care? What's the deal with my music and what makes that music any better? I'd rather be driving round town and saying **** You instead of screaming "I hate liiiiife yeaaaa!!!"
